painted my valve cover today

I decided today to paint my valve cover. It was pretty straight forward. Remove valve cover. Clean with carb cleaner and a wire brush. Use wax and grease remover. Primer. Then paint! I went with a matching color to my car and it turned out very well.... . This is a before, primered, and installed. Tell me what you think

I built the strut tower bar myself in college lol. I've been thinking about altering the design a little and building a couple ill let you know if I sell. They'd be cheap. Thanks guys for the good input

I will try to take some better pictures of the strut bar tomorrow. It works with all of the cruise control and nothing needs modified. I put that on before I lowered the car and the handling increase was huge. It holds grip instead of pushing through corners

Very clean. What was the paint you used?

I actually used the perfect match touch up paint. I was worried since its not high temp. I've driven about 500 miles and it looks perfect still

I used duplicolor sandable primer in dark grey
