paint repair question?

Sorry if i posted this in the wrong place but I have a quick question. A couple months ago I realized some asshole keyed the back of my trunk lid. its about 13" in lenth. I did the fingernail test, seeing if its deep which my nail stops in the scratch but the paint is still there so i think its just clear coat that got scratched. I tried some over the shelf paint polish scratch remover with no luck. So does simonis Fix It work? just saw a commercial for it but as with all of those tv products I really dont trust them. other wise im going to have to take it to the shop when weather gets better.

Post some pics so we can see what the damage is. You May just need a good buffing depending on the depth. But if its past the clear then you may need to take it to someone who has some experience. You don't want to make it worse.
