P5's are getting old (age wise)!

Yeah, I'm also a Buy & Hold kinda guy. I just got my 2002 P5 with about 46,000 kms (28,XXX miles) and I plan on keeping it for a long time, if it doesn't give me too much trouble. I traded in my '91 Integra which I purchased back in '93 with 49,000 kms on it.

In eleven(11) days my P5 will be 4 years old and I will be payment free. Unfortunately I have 120 000km on the clock but no probs yet (knock knock) Probably will keep it for another four years or 250 000 whatever comes first.

My last car (vw fox) I sold with 536 000km on it, still ran great but it was always in the back of my mind that next time I stop I may be walking away with only my license plates. The lady I sold it to put another 100 000km on it with only oil changes and replaced a coolant hose. She always thanks me for selling her that car.

I've had my P5 2 years and 4 months, and have a little over 40K and plan to drive her till she falls apart. :) The car that she replaced was a '93 Loyale that had 130K miles so she is still very young. I do still miss that auto-up on the drivers side window though, but everything else about the P5 makes up for it.

3 years old with 22,000 miles this past November. First brand-new car I've owned. My two year old loves it. Demands we take "zoom-zoom" whenever the three of us go out together. I plan on keeping it until he starts driving.

For real. I've had mine since september, and I've almost put 8,000 miles on it. Many of which going to and from races ;)

My car just turned 4 years old. I've only had her for 3. Nearly 80,000 miles and on the 2nd engine. She's had her share of bumps and bruises, but she's a tough little car. One day, she'll turn into a project car. Totally different engine and drivetrain.

man, you don't drive much........

Well, I work almost 60 hours a week between two jobs, both within 15 miles of home, and spend most of my free time with the family. Usage actually has increasedsince we moved last November. But not by much. At this rate, my warranty will run out of years before miles.
