p5 vs. 96' jetta

i was leaving my friends neighborhood and as we get to the exit a purple jetta goes by and revs at me, so i floor it out of the neighborhood and catch up to him, we are both turning left so i follow him and after awhile it finally turns into two lanes and we meet at a light, the guy asks me how i like the p5 and i say its awesome and he said he just came from the mazda dealership and he had ordered a mazdaspeed protege, thats about all the time we had for talking so we give it a go and by the time i hit second gear i was about 2-3 carlengths in front. not that this was any big feat because i am pretty sure it was a 2.0L 5spd with exhaust, not sure what else. no matter what it was still fun

Good kill... The Jetta 2.0l is very slow with its 115hp but accepts mods very easily. Install a Neauspeed Turbo which turns the Jetta into a monster. He's smart to dump the VW for a Mazda. I use to work at a VW/Mazda dealer and Mazdas are a lot better car then VWs in build and lack of problems.

you will be 3 hours away from me. I live on the NH/ME line about 30 minutes north of Portmouth, NH and 45 minutes from Portland.
