P5 valve cover on MSP?

will this work? im thinking of finding a P5 valve cover at a local junk yard and having it powder coated, just wanted to make sure before i go junk yard diving.

Just becareful when you do this. I know of people who have done this and ended up blocking oil passages they didn't even know about leading to engine failure. It may also make the vc more likely to crack, so just beware of that as well. I myself have a black pc vc on my GSX and love it, but just giving you fair warning.

Block Oil Passages??? they are the exact same block

No, no, no. Not what I meant. I have no idea if there are passages inside the valve cover or not. I was just saying that some do (such as the 4g63 valve cover) and if so, during the process of powder coating, you could damage the valve cover, such as oil passages. Bazooka Joe knew what I meant. The last thing I would do is spread wrong information across forums. If I say something, it is because I have had first hand experience with it. All i was trying to do was just warn him to be very careful if he is doing it himself, or make sure the person who is knows what they are doing.
