P5 owners, what will you do when you see another P5 on the road???

Has anyone here seen that Civic commercial where theres the young asian guy with the modded Civic and he passes the middle aged guy in a stock Civic and waves and the middle aged guy and the middle aged guy doesnt know what to do?
Well this happens to me so much. I almost always wave at other Protege5's and they are almost always old ladies or young families or what not. They are usually stunned like the guy in the commercial.

^ Ya. I always get excited when I see a young person driving. I always wave. If I have my windows down, I'll wave out the window. 90% of the time I'll get a wave back. More often than not it is a 30+ person. That drives me crazy. Give them minivans, leave the P5's to us.

Anyway, I don't see many other MP5s where I've been. I drove my car across the country (from Salt Lake City to Columbus, Ohio) and saw maybe a grand total of 3 or 4 the whole. The ones I did see were on the interstate driven by middle aged men who didn't even notice me, so I never was able to wave.
Once in SLC though, I was stopped at a traffic light, and the oncoming traffic was crossing, and a bunch of teenagers in a yellow P5 (like mine) that looked rather beat up and had a number of decals on the side saw me and all looked over, so I raised my hand off the steering wheel and got a slight wave and nod back from the driver. Thats about the extent of my P5 encounters. I get flashed alot at night though because old people think I have my highbeams on, so I flash 'em back. It's sorta like a wave, right?
My dad is a HUGE Miata afficianado (owns 3 of them), and tells me all the time whenever he passes another Miata they ALWAYS wave to each other. It's really big with Miata and Corvette owners apparently, they almost always wave to each other.

DAMN !! Be nice to 30+ guys, I got one and I am over 30. I too get excited when I see another P5 and always look to see if they are looking at me. So, be nice, there are SOME 30 year olds that can appreciate this car.lasermp5 said:
The mini-van stab kinda hurts though.......j/k. cuz I own one of those too(wifes family hauler).......can't get all of my kids in the P5. My 2 oldest always want to take "dad's car" cuz it's cooler than mom's........

There arn't many P5's here in Columbus. If you ever see a Red P5 with dark tint and a retard with glasses driving thats me! I usually wave or try to get next to them as well. But yeah... I usually see an older woman driving. Ive seen *maybe* 1 or 2 other young people driving.

Me thinks we need a "forums" wave or something...like a secret fraternity handshake, but just in the form of a wave. And not so secret.
When I see a P5 I usually wonder all the time if it belongs to anyone on here in the forums I doubted since I rarely see any P5's but when I do I try to check who is driving. Once I saw a hottie behind the wheel ah man that was great (naughty) If I see them parked I will usually tag them with "forum cards" so that they can come and join the site as well as "MTMA" cards. But around where I live I think they are only 2 P5's a yellow one with black tint and a silver one with black tint. I stand out with my white P5, everybody likes my car since you rarely ever and I mean ever see it around not like civics.
