F- me...

I just installed CPE nano and RMM and I am getting a p0118 engine coolant temp circuit high input code. The car traction sensor comes on (car with squiggly lights) and engine light comes on.

It won't show the coolant temp most of the time on the dashhawk nor does the temp guage work and the fan runs full blast. Then the temp will start to work for a short while but then the idle starts to flucuate and the fan comes back on (rinse and repeat). It drives fine as far as I can tell (haven't boosted).

I also cleaned the MAF....

Any ideas? :(

I'm a FAIL GOD....bow before me fellow fail-ers......It's fixed....and all because I didn't and couldn't find the ECT sensors location.

In a nutshell, once I found out the general location of the sensor was under the intake/inlet connection (and I was searching just about everywhere else), I just happened to find that the sensor plug had popped off....I clicked it back in and reinstalled the CPE intake. Car started and ran perfect, no codes.

I spent hours and hours and hours just because I can't read a frkn engine diagrams. FCK ME!

So if anyone gets this code, the sensor is right under the intake/inlet connection.
What took me more hours than I will say, should of took 10 minutes....

BTW ...The RMM 75 Duron and nano are sublime!

lol I knew it, you fck something up on the installation. I said he'll go back and find what he did wrong lol.

I know right...I do feel like a schmuck for not inspecting the area I just worked on...oye...all is still good!

Honestly, I like finding out it was something simple... BEFORE I SPEND ANY MORE MONEY!

It couldh've been worse, right?
