Sweet! My mom had a hampster just like that. She left it in her classroom at school and all the kids would play with it during free time. (she taught 6th-8th grade math that year) I think it was a Kodiak Bear hampster or something to that degree. It's name was Cody. I think she gave it to one of the kids at the end of the year.

What's the difference between a "bear" hamster and a plain ol' hamster?

BTW, no punchline coming...I'm just curious because I had many hamsters as a kid, just never a black bear (or any other kind of bear for that matter).

while I have to admit its kidna cute, I actually hate animals...cows, chickens, pigs, lambs, and turkeys taste pretty good though :D

awwww the only hampster I like it the bear hampster.. soo cute. I had rats for awhile.

I had a hampster. His name was Fredrick...the largest hampster in the world!
Ive also taken care of prarie dogs..they are like beaver sized hampsters. lol. The one we had was pretty sweet. He would follow me around all day in his ball and I looked like Lilo trying to pick up Stich when I carried him. lol
Anyway heres Fredrick

Prarie dogs are awesome! I went on a trip to Yellowstone and they were all over the place up around there. I'd love to have one as a pet.
