Does anyone like black mica?? Come all BLACK MICA owners, where are you?!?!? Black is by far my favorite color in the MSP. It would look even better if it had an 03.5 wing. Ive always wanted to see a black mica with an 03.5 spoiler.

I'd go with Spicy Orange. No joke. I've never seen another color I like better than that one. I liked it so much I paid a bit more for my S.O. MSP used (and halfway across the country) than I could have bought a new '03.5 for much closer to home. The 03.5 package just didn't do it for me, regardless of color.CatD399 said:

Back in the day, around 1989, I had my 323 GTX painted teal green, when there were no factory cars that color. I never thought I'd turn heads like that again until I saw the Spicy Orange on the cover of the 2004 Motor Trend buyers guide. It was love at first sight.
FWIW, I'm finally getting my '79 10th Anniversary Trans Am painted this year. It came with a two-tone silver and charcoal paint scheme (and a huge screaming chicken decal, lol). I'm leaning very heavily toward using the Sunlight Silver and the Titanium paint formulas on that car. Screw originality, it would look so much better with Mazdaspeed paint on it.
Oh, and I've never seen the black Mica in person. I bet it looks awesome. I'm ruined on black though. My last daily driver of 6 years was also the last black vehicle I plan on owning. For all the obvious reasons. Maybe one day I can own one in each factory color, and just rotate them depending on mood, weather, pollen count, etc. *takes another crack hit*SPARCO3319 said:

Screw repainting your MSP...I might get parts of it painted, but I'd never repaint the whole thing. What I've always thought about was how cool it would be if Mazda would have offered the MSP in some of the colors from the other Proteges. I know most people would say red or blue, I think that aqua color (I searched for the name on here & Edmunds & found nothing) would look bad ass!

I don't think I've EVER seen a pic of just 6 MSPs together...one of each color. Someone needs to arrange that. I would do it here, but the damn silvers are so rare.MrDiggler said:

I have seen one of every color around Hartford, Ct!! There is a big Mazdaspeed dealer here that had a few of every color. I would keep that as my desktop photo forever man!

first, in the user cp, on upload files: browse the pics you want, and before hitting upload, type in a folder name ( i made mine 'images').
next, (i use two windows for this) once your pic is uploaded, right-click on the link of the image, and select properties. highlight the pic's adress, save it and then, (in the other window) when you click on insert image, paste the adress of the pic.
this is the only way i managed to make it work..

(mswerd) Hell ya. I'm so glad I got 3.5 rather than 03. I REALLY had my heart set on something gunmetal w/a polished lip. Too much muny. The 3.5 finish is actually gonna be close to the gunmetal look I wanted to do. I'm gonna be sooo happy w/my racingharts! Just attach them to your post...no need to upload them in User CP. When you open the reply window, scroll down & look for Manage Attachments. There's no way you won't be able to figure it out.Horse said:
