I saw that about Kubica. The surgeon that reattached his hand is known for his work on motorcycle racers who've injured themselves - he's supposed to be top of the top. At minimum, they're thinking a year of recovery before he can even think about returning to F1 - and that's a big "if", depending on the mobility of his wrist/hand...
