here's a link to hks turbos, notice alot of them will fit a t3 flange.http://www.mercurymotorsport.com.au/partturbo/turbo.html
Dude, you're killing me! Yes, I'm leaving too much to interpretation here. I have a T3 (old school technology that I do not trust). I believe there are good Garrett turbos out there (I do not have one of these - mine is "Air Research" aka Turbonetics). I will not put another turbo of the same technology in my ride. The GT30 is a dual ball bearing of different technology. Thus, I would be willing to give it a try if people think it is a good solution.mp5jeff said:wait, you want a gt30 but don't trust garrett? who else makes it?
Now this is the help I was looking for! THANK YOU! Do you know or can you recommend the A/R that I would want. I think I'm at .48 and .60 right now on my T3 (stick close to that, or should I have something different). What do you have?mp5jeff said:oh yea to answer you, depending on the size of the gt30(theres more then 1) it will be close to the size of a t3 i believe, but it will be dual ball bearing hence it will spool alot faster.
Anyone know much about these (I don't). Are these a good solution?mp5jeff said:theres a bunch of hks turbos that fit a t3 flange..
that would be laggier then a t3 compressor...although would create more power at lower boost =)funktownp5 said:I would go with the more efficient TO4E compressor and .63a/r.
this would be great for my twin turbo project I have in mind for my Pro.jersey_emt said:Screw it and go with one of these
