I think on some cars if you increase the throttle body size it may affect emmision to the extent of not passing, atleast that is what I have heard before. Could be reason for tweo sizes. You would be suprised what 2mm can do for air flow.
Stutters, I wish I could read Japanese and give you a definate answer, but all of that stuff is in Japanese. I'm thinking it's probably 60mm, but I can't be sure. It is very expensive though.

If you guys do the conversion you'll just be punishing yourselves. One must understand that the way it works in Japan is you purchase the product. Then there has to be 5% GST, it's mandatory. Then shipping and then customs of approx 8.75%.

The SAMCO hoses are not needed to import. They are already here. I will have Sean post a group buy on the SAMCO hoses. They are sweet.
A lot of the products listed here are ridiculously expensive as well as other parts available here. Like MP3 bars instead of Autoexe. They will be cheaper. The important stuff to get is what you can't get here.

the majority of the other AutoExe retailers are not purchasing direct. They would be going through a distributor. We're and have been always purchasing direct. This is the reason for the time in negotiation. At this time we're trying to open a window for the product into the US on a consistent basis. As we are with MintBlue as well. Therefore pricing will be the most competitive avialable. We will also be setting up pickup points near each of you. This way we will ship a pallet to one of our reps and you guys can pick up from them. This will drastically reduce the cost of shipping the lips. This may or may not work. We shall see.

i just checked the autoexe paper catalog (they sent me three of them for the whole club) and I think it does say its a 60mm.
its in japanese of course but under familia row it says something like:
