i ordered the heliolight 8000k double beam kit, final price was 570 cause he didnt have them at the outlet so he gave me a break. gettin and installin them on friday. ill try to have pics

I think i'm going to order some HIDs from www.misterjung.com after I get a little extra cash saved up. Some other people on the board said good things about his HID kits.

well i had some hids on my pro and i just didnt like them ,it throws the light all over . it looked cool and everything but it did to much . now im selling them on ebay for hella cheap. (try to get money to buy a new engine 4 my crx)

I guess I don't understand the craze with HIDs. Yeah they're brighter, but I don't understand how they look cool. They're just headlights. And f(&(*ing christ, people are paying over $500 for these things? If I had $500 to spare, it would go directly into my savings account labeled "Speed upgrades only"...

I can't decide what kelvin to go with...
6000K doesn't do it for me, if i plan on spending that kind of money for HIDs.
Would you know of any 7300K out there?

Just so as everyone knows, yet again, a halogen style headlight will not produce the correct beam pattern when HID lights are put in.
Reason being, the xenon gas discharge bulb requires a different focal length to focus the beam in a particular manner, as where the halogen does not need the same thing.
So, put HID's in if you want, your beam will not look right and you might very well end up blinding everyone else on the road. No worries though.

our fog lights are H3s. Some places "say" they make H3s but i don't know. don't have the money to buy them now. i guess when i do have the money i will follow up and ask. right now i 8000K blue HIDs in my head lights. they are F*@$ing awsome. little pricey. i bought mine for $420 and cost $100 to install but they are nice.
and this is for any one who says "Whats the big deal with HID i rather sped it on some thing else."

are they double beam?
cause mine are double beam. i got them for $550. and cmon man theyre plug and play. $100??? to intall?? thats alot but its all good. and for the person who asked. no i didnt get fogs. theyre way too much. i have xenon hyper white fogs but they dont do justice compared to the hids so im gonna try to get purple fogs.

I think saided18's first pic says is all - GLARE!!!!!!!

If you actually want more light on the road, the 4200k-5300k lights put out the most light, but don't look as "cool" I guess.

mine weren't. i bought them a year ago as soon as i got my car. And when i bought them they really didn't have the "plug and plays" were you just plug stuff together. these had to be hard wired in. Plus i got relays wired in too. So no i didn't pay some one to just plug conectors together. They had to run wired and stuff.
