Orange peeled paint??

Does anyone else have a spot of orange peeled paint behind the front wheel wells? I'm hoping its intentional for rock chipping, but it looks hideously inconsistent, and I would expect to see it across the whole bottom of the car, not just a blop here n there. I just now noticed it when I was giving'r a good wax job.

can get one, dealer states its rock chipping guard... man it looks half assed to me but eh well. also noticed my driverside headlight is aimed a tad lower, they say thats to keep from blinding oncoming drivers with my HIDs... lol but I wanna....
