Yes they stick out a good bit more than stock it appears. There are all kinds of theories on offset with no proof which is actually better or worse on this car.

would a 40mm or a 50 mm stick out more or less than a 42 mm?
A +40mm offset would stick out slightly more than a +42mm offset. Basically the lower the offset the more it sticks out.
so then getting something with a 48mm or 50mm would look lame then right? because it would be tucked in like the stock wheel?
I would like to get the H&R springs when they become available and in stock so it seems like a 40mm would look good then right?
how about a 19 inch rim with a 38mm offset?
Yeah basically but you would defiantly need to get your fenders rolled for them to fit.
I wouldn't go with 19's unless you're going for the baller look . (they will be heavier and more $$)
those actually look really nice! I am pondering getting black with silver lip, gunmetal with silver lip or all silver. Maybe even ones without a lip something flush with the fender might make the rim look bigger kind of like the stock rim.
But those 38mm offsets look pretty sweet on there!
how about an a 19X8.5 rim? Everyone seems to go 7.5 or 8 so wondering if an 8/5 wide would still fit.

I had gold on my blue 350z and it looked pretty sweet, I think gold on silver might look good, but still in debate about silver, black, or gunmetal! Decisions decisions!!!!

I am all about the gold wheel look but it just doesn't work on silver. I would go with silver on silver.

Thanks to haberdashery and his photoshop skills he put one of my favorite rims above onto a silver speed3 so I could see what it would look like.... I think we may have a winner here, what do you think about this:

Yah, gold wheels look best on black or white cars. I say silver, gunmetal or black for your car... IMHO, of course...

Gold can work on bright blue or red cars as well.
Yeah swampass has gold oz's on his true red MS3 and it looks pretty tight.
