I just installed a Street unit rear engine mount.

My opinion is that this upgrade really makes a difference.

1- when shifting from 1st to second I don't feel the engine 'jumping' anymore. the shifting is smooth.
2- when I downshift it doesn't fell too abrut (as with the stock enginge mount).
3-vibration is a litle bit higher (30% more) but not unconfortable.
4- the installation required the help of a mechanic (or at least somebody with a jack to lift the car and be able to fit between the car an the floor.

conclusion:
this is a good and recommended upgrade.

i love mine too. i wanna upgrade to the 90a bushing but SU warned me that it would be too uncomfortable so i declined. but now im thinking about getting it just to see what they were talking abuot. anyone already have it? the 90a bushing? care to spend .02 cents?

SU Engine May make your dash fall off

.....sounds like it anyway. If you like rattles up the ass and buzzing like a bumble bee the SU is great. I wouldn't give 30 cents for a dozen of them. Other posts claim failure of the SU as well.

The solution? Modify the OEM by injecting polyurethane into the open areas. Just did this mod and it is a world of difference from the BUZZY SU.

I believe it will last as long as the OEM mount, offer up better stiffness and not have the rattles and vibrations the SU causes.

yea i used to like my su engine mount until the 2 allens cames loose on me but i took it apart and loc tite'ed it and now its fine
