Open downpipe

Oh it might be a bit. The car has to serve not only as my fun car, but my DD, so my goal is to work down to 12 second times reliably on street tires. And not 12.9s (no offense intended Laloosh). I'm giving it out till mid summer. But I'll make sure to keep you updated.

my car needs cobb asap to make some type of noise lol.. this car is so quiet other than the exhaust. I probably wont go DP since I think it will make it too loud then I would have to hear the wife, but I think the racepipe and cutout are an acceptable compromise hah

i put the SU test pipe on my ms3 and it pulls harder i can tell because i have a friend with the same mods (ms intake, hks ssqv bov, ) but he don't have the test pipe... he use to stay even with me but i pull from him and just keep pulling.. it made a pretty big difference and spools up faster to.. i would like to see what i could run in the 1/4 cause with out the test pipe i ran and average 13.8 at 101..1.8 60ft(drive2) but i need a motor mount cause i was getting serious amount of wheel hop and still ran that time!!!!

Man I confused myself on this one

catless midpipe=testpipe=racepipe!

I've always been of the impression, at least, that they are all one in the same. However, if it is lacking in cats, it is called a racepipe, and if it is a garage build bangup, its called a testpipe? I mean, a midpipe is a midpipe is a midpipe, all that matters if it has cats or not.

be carefull i did that when i went to the track and all the aluminum tape on the heat shild got shreaded off and i hit fuel cut like non other

lol, I took the 2nd cat (mid pipe) off for a day. It was pretty loud but it vibrated the whole car really bad. It was fun for like a day, but glad to have it back to stock now, lol. I was thinking of doing an electric cutout too, but probably just get a downpipe and test pipe instead...maybe full TBE but I'm not sure if that's really needed
