Ontario: Any Orange MSP's out there?

Need help from people in Ontario or Canada aswell. My local dealer (Durham Mazda) is telling me theres no more Orange MSP's to be bought anymore and that they cant do a search to other dealers to find one possibly. Anyone heard otherwise from other dealers recently in the last week or month saying otherwise?

I heard from I think Grimace on this board saying that one dealer said they could get one in 30 days guaranteed. Also heard someone say something about an Orange one sitting in Barrie.

Please, any help would be great....I'm trying to buy one this week hopefully and would rather get orange then titanium...even though I've changed my mind a million times.

Yeah, my dealer called me up almost 30 days ago and said there were a few more still available, but the car had to be pre-sold before the dealer would (or could) order it. I'm guessing out of Canada's allotment of 250 cars, that a month ago there might have been only 50 left unsold.
Try giving Avante Mazda a call in North York. That is who I'm dealing with and they've been great. Ask for Gaspare and tell him Jason the Mazdaspeed Nut sent you. If there are any left in Canada, they'll be happy to order you one.

Gyro Mazda had one in the showroom as of last week, Scarboro Mazda had one 2 weeks ago. That's the best i can do.....best of luck to you.

TIGHTanium - When you mentio Durham are you referring to Whitby Mazda? If so, there is where i got my MAZDASPEED from. I dealt with Wayne Smalls at that dealership. They have no idea if they were getting anymore when i was picking mine up. But if you were to place an order with them they should get one just for you. I think i was the only one from that dealership i get a Orange MAZDASPEED. But then again, i had my order in 6 months before i got it. So, good luck!

Thanks for replies everyone. I'll be on the phone all day tomorrow it looks like. Limited, you were the first to get one from Whitby and then the second and last one came in 2 weeks ago. They've only gotten two so far and they tell me thats all they can get.

Funny thing is, they know nothing about the car AT ALL. I just informed them today that the 03.5's come without foglamps and they said I was wrong etc...I'm sick of dealers knowing nothing.

TIGHTanium - You are right, they no absolutely NOTHING about the cars. On the survey that i have to fill out in the mail, i wrote so many negative things about their knowledge. They didn't even give me a tour of the car when i went to pick it up. But then again, this was the first car they've seen. Plus i'm sure us, ethusiat know more about it then all of there salesmen combined.

Most dealers I call and ask aboot the msp tell me they will be getting the 2003.5's, whose body is ASS compared to the first run of the msp.
So I think the O.G. spicy orange are very hard to find at this point!

The spicy orange may still be had....but I think it would be a hunt....You could always ask someone to go by the ports and see if there is any orange left...you may have to go to mpsport.net

like Oliver said, Oakville Mazda has one. They are selling it for $26,995. If you go there, speak to Alan Chan. He's my friend and will attend to all your questions.

The one in Oakville looks like the windows have already been tinted....so expect to pay extra for other work already done to the car...Like chopstick said Alan is a nice guy we bought a car from him
