Well just as everyone told me (and deep down I suspected) the modding bug did not die when I got rid of the P5.
As you may or may not know, I bought the WRX in May 05, and deployed here to Afghanistan in Jan 06...in that time, I added:
Kartboy short shifter
Kartboy front/rear shift bushings
Kartboy shift knob
Gram Light 57S Gold 17" wheels
JVC ADV6160 DVD/MP3 player
Leadfoot-style guage bezel
Autometer EGT/Boost guages
STi fog covers
STi front splitters
STi front/rear strut bars
Prodrive lowering springs
Cleared headlights
Debadged trunk
20% tint all around
Pink "i" badge
JDM Subaru trunk decal
Blue Batmobile tailight overlays
And since I am coming home for a mid-tour leave on April 13th, I figured I would have some more stuff waiting for me (yes I know it isnt MID-tour leave, it is more like beginning tour leave, but that was all they had available, meaning I have 8 months left when I get back in Afghanistan, which sucks...)...
Seibon carbon fiber hood/trunk (maybe I need CF anonymous)
Cobb Tuning AccessPORT ECU
HKS SSQ BOV (not really much of anything except for sound, not needed in the WRX but the wife likes it so no biggie for me)
Maybe RODSCALIP's STi rear aprons...
When I get home for good I will have a Borla Hush 3" exhaust, and up/downpipe waiting as well.
So, all of that was basically posted to say you guys were right (and so was my subconcious).
But I know some of us dont get along, but on the other hand I know, like, have met, and respect many of you over the time I was an active member here, and so I wanted to drop by and say "hi."
Other than that, not much going on. Will be pinning Staff Sergeant (E6) on pretty soon...lots of IED attacks here now that the weather has improved, so I have been pretty busy.
