OK, so i finished my first autocross!!!

i'll say this, i'm frickin hooked! i was told that i did good, and it felt so ****** cool to do that!!! i ate up the course, didn't go off once, and didn't hit any cones. my first run came in at 74.86, second was 74.93, (with my girl riding too), and final run was 72.2. i had everything out of the car, the sub, floormats, jack, spare, and i even put both seats down cause i remembered reading on here that it may lower the center of gravity,hehe. anyhow, it was a blast, and i can't wait for the next one.

friday, i go to capitol raceway, and see what she's got in a straight line.

derrick turned in some very impressive times for a first time driver. The combination of the MP3 and derrick's driving style made it a very successful event for him!

now we wait for the results to be posted, and see how he fared in his class!!!

hehe derrick, if you're letting the car tell you how to drive it, you aren't driving it hard enough!!!

man I can definitely see how all the other MP3 owners are taking over in their local autocrosses, the car can flat out turn!!!

and the results for this event should be out sometime this week, I'll post the link here once it's up

hank, it was a joke, i drove it how i wanted to, not the car...on that last run, i came as close to each cone as i could, i kept them real tight, and just pushed, although you're right, i could have pushed a bit more. the thing that got me was you guys said it was the hardest course yet, and i thought it was kinda second nature i guess, it was easy, guess its that darn sport tuned suspension.

Way to go Derrick! I had a very good weekend with my first top 10 overall finish.....I had to deal with 40 hp minimum less than anybody else in the top 10 too!

And lucky me.....I have another event tomorrow!

Good field of cars there, that's good. You'll find the Neons can be hard to catch, especially if they run DOT-R's.
