Oil Drain Plug...??

Has anyone used the Qwik Valve Oil Drain plug on their MS6 yet? I'm thinking of getting one to make oil changes easier. Here's a link to the site and item:

It's constructed using a 1/4-turn ball valve which are extremely robust under terrible conditions. The valve controlling the plug will probably outlast the life of the engine. (I work in the valve industry.)

With that said, the only thing I don't like about it, and why I probably won't use it is there is not a magnet to catch metal shavings. I believe the OEM plug is magnetic (though I may be confusing it with the transmission, PTO, and rear diff). I know the others are and believe the oil plug is as well.

The OEM plug is not. I thought about swapping it out for a magnetic plug, but someone mentioned with the aluminum block, it most likely wouldn't catch much in terms of particulate in the oil. To me, having it there and barely catching something is enough of a precaution to still warrant it.

Blender, you're right, the rear diff, transfer case, and trans. drain plugs are magnetic.

They make a clip that you can buy with it to solve the bottoming out issue:

For a buck, I think it's worth it. However, I do wish the entire damn thing was magnetic. I'll update you guys on how it goes.
