Honestly, when we released the product we did not expect such a strong response from non-turbo vehicles. Its purpose is to get rid of the particles and gases in the crankcase that get blown by the piston during compression. It helps filter out these particles to keep them from getting mixed in with your oil and being recycled through your engine and re-combusted. They also get caked on your intake valves and intake track which isn't as big of a problem with a port injected engine because the fuel helps wash the deposits away and keep your valves clean, but it would still act as an additional barrier.
I have made a request to have the CorkSport Mazda 2 test fitted with the catch can so I can give some feedback on the ease of installation and will let you know what we find out.
