Just having the front mount doesn't do much for keeping the engine in place. You still have a lot of movement. The rear seems to do most of the job. So if you just want the front, get the hard mount.INiTiAL33 said:Ok sorry if im asking a question that has been answered in the previous pages... but i really dont have time these days to go thru all these 6 pages....so if anyone can help me out that would be great.
I'm just looking to purchase the front mounts.
What are the CONS of just having the front mounts? Soft auto ones or hard manual ones?
Are there any CONS for having just the hard front?Mike R said:Just having the front mount doesn't do much for keeping the engine in place. You still have a lot of movement. The rear seems to do most of the job. So if you just want the front, get the hard mount.
with just the front you will have a slight increase in all things you mentioned... not bad at all though.INiTiAL33 said:Are there any CONS for having just the hard front?
vibration? noises? hard idle?
Not really. Just barely noticeable increase in vibration and roughness of idle.INiTiAL33 said:Are there any CONS for having just the hard front?

Aight, it's tommorow and a few. Got em in yet? Would you personally recommend them?suttonschinook said:I just recieved my AWR mounts with the softer bushings. I installed the front one in about 10 min and will be installing the rear one tomorrow along with the intake manifold and throttle body spacers. There is a huge difference after just installing the front! Throttle response is awsome and the car just feels more solid. I let you guys know after I install the rear one tomorrow! Later, Evan
