MP5 Yellow
Hey guys, my intention to pick up an MS6/3 died when I saw my payment cuz I am upside down in my MP5. Well anyway, I am looking at rims and wonder what offset you guys are using on 17's. I have a set of 205/45/17's sitting in the dining room with no home.

Thanks.

Why not throw that money you are going to spend on rimz towards a principle payment on the loan so you can get out from underneath sooner?

Just a thought....

Im reading the fitment guide, and I see that you can have a 17x7 +42 with 205/40/17's. So with 205/45/17's the only difference being the side wall height. How much of a difference is that? From your experience do you think that the Taller tire will cause a problem with Rubbing?

Also does any know the offset of the MP3 Racing Harts?

I say theoretical because tire sizes are a lot like shoe sizes. They vary a lot between manufacturers and models. Not all 205s are gonna be the exact (or even close) same width. With the 42 offset, you're gonna be pretty close. I have 215-45 on 17x7 +42 and rub a little under full compression in the rear. I'll probably roll the rear fenders in the near future.

Thats a great tool. Thanks for the info, on your rim and tire size, that helps because I am shopping for my rims on ebay, and the majority of the rims are +42.

Ya, that's where I got mine. If you're stock height, you shouldn't have a problem rubbing. My current 215s aren't much wider than my original 205s, and when I was on stock P5 suspension, I never rubbed at all.

These should look at home on my Pro 5, Vivid Yellow with dark tinted windows.
