Official P5 wheel thread.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Springs and struts will be installed sometime within the next month.

I posted some other pics in the photo/video section and somebody photoshopped one of them to make the car look lower. Here it is:

Riax Seca 10 spoke.
Not a name brand but my wife picked them out when it was her daily.

Now that it's mine, I am tempted to swap with her new Mazda3 and paint the mz3 wheels dark silver.

Question of wheel rub/how to fix

I recently purchased a set of practically new (about 3,000 miles) wheels/tires from a friend of mine who had them on his RSX. One of my stock rims had been slightly bent resulting in uneven tread wear. Besides, I was in need of a new set of tires anyway...but I digress.
First, some of the details. The wheels are Rotas, 17x7, +45. The tires are BF Goodrich G-force, 225 45 R17. I know the whole setup is big, but having read some of the threads here it seemed to be about the biggest I could safely run. Suspension is stock. I had issues with the rear wheels not sitting right, so I went with 3/16" wheel spacers (no spacers up front). My problem is the rear wheels rub the fender when I go over large bumps/dips. No rubbing observed so far up front.
I'm looking for a fix that wouldn't set me back too much. Is the current wheel setup gonna be too big for the car? Are the spacers creating the issue? I appreciate any and all help anyone can provide. Thanks!

45 offset with 225 alone is going to be tight. I was running 205's with 45 offset and had to roll the LR fender. 225's and spacers will probably be too much. What was the issue with the rears that you put spacers on?

The shape of the rear hub wouldn't allow the new wheel to sit flat (the hole in the middle of the rim wasn't quite large enough to fit around the protruding center of the hub--does that make sense?). The spacer was the only way for the rear wheels to be positioned correctly.
If it turns out I need to have the rear fenders rolled, what all is entailed?
