Official: ATx -> MTx conversion

just makes things easier. changing the wiring harness would be a pain in the ass with the engine in place.

take like pictures for me if you can, i want to see the progress of how the swap went, and later you can tell me details of how it went, so i know of what to expect.

sorry, not wasting time taking pics... i don't have a camera anyways. its pretty straight forward... pull the s*** out, put the other s*** in.

what would the engine need to come out for.

It does not but 97% of it is disconnected and it makes it much better to align the clutch etc..

cool, looks like a headache plus i have like half the tools that i would need to do it, so thats why my shop comes in handy, only 640 to do entire installation.

+parts... i just spent 600 on misc gaskets, bolts, seals, timing belt. i had to get some engine and manifold gaskets that you're not gonna need. you prolly won't need a new timing belt either. but its still gonna add up.

if i went id probably forget something i needed, cause im still not sure on all what ill need, so thats where you come in gimp.

i have my parts invoice with all the parts numbers on it and stuff.
hell i even got him to print out the diagrams with the parts numberr...

scanner would help alot huh?

what gaskets do you need?
there's the pressure plate between the crank and the tranny.... but that's the only one i had, i think....

umm 2 crank seals.. those aren't really gaskets i guess.. i guess all the gaskets i got are cuz i'm swapping engines
