yeah... i'm not worried about the ECU flash... that'll just come when I'm bored, or next time I'm in TO - DWM will most likely do a free reflash.

As for the speedo cable, I'm hoping that Turfburn has one, or Focus.... Once both of them lemme know what's up, I'll either ask on here and the TO board for the clip or i'll buy it off them and install

I'm surviving alright without the speedo... city driving is all stop&go anyways.

Just called DWM... they can't reflash an ECU to remove features that are 'hard coded' into it.
I think I might just buy an ODB-II reader and perform monthly checks on my car once I've removed the Brake, ABS and CEL lights from my cluster. I didn't really want to remove the CEL light, but it's just as useless to me to have it lit up 24/7 as it is to have it taken out.

I won't take out the CEL until I've installed the speedo cable, though - that might be the only thing throwing it off.

Brian was just noting that I gotta get better at driving 5spd before I worry about reflashing my ECU (which won't work) and getting the speedometer setup. But the speedo cable won't really affect my driving skills, it'll just let me obey the law a little better (spin)

oh yeah.. i don't stall or anything (only when i play speed racer by myself)
I just gotta get used to the feel... i've driven the car for all of 3 hours while 5spd, and 2 hours of that was on the highway (although shifting to 3rd from 5th is fun)

the ABS will come out this weekend... but the CEL will stay in the car as long as it can.. if it's not the speedo setting it off, i'll have it checked when the speedo cable is installed.

in the meantime.. the clutch and flywheel are something you NEED - so buy them from Roni
