Does anyone know the weight of the OEM rims for the 2010 Mazdaspeed 3?

Where'd you find that on tirerack's website? I saw where the OEM tire is 24#, but nothing about the OEM wheel.

someone selling them showed a pic of 49.5 on a scale, so 24 lb tire, and 24 lb wheel sounds somewhat reasonable... well, logical anyway.

my wheel/tire combo on the miata is only 31lbs. knowing my speed3 carries 18 more pounds around per corner makes me sad.

I dropped 7lbs a corner switching from mz3 to RX-7 wheels. very excited to see how that pans out in spring.

I didnt actually.. the same question was asked on the other forum and one of the members posted that he found on tire rack that the stock wheels were 24lbs each..

I didnt' realize how much heavier the stockers were until I swapped out my summers for winter rims/tires (MB 17x7 rims) and WOW...talk about a weight difference. Didn't measure them, but it took a lot more umph to move the stockers around.

Unsprung weight FTW.
