odometer backlight

i HAD white numbers on a black background, (now EL) with red needles, and green backlight on the odometer/trip... also i realised i don't actually have a CEL - but my battery light will turn on when i have a CEL

i like my dash setup.. its quite pretty and stuff, but will try out that reverse polarisation.....

PS DO NOT BREAK OR DAMAGE THE ORIGINAL POLARIZER!!!
polarising sheets really are not cheap, you might be able to pinch one form somewhere.. but if you need to get one, they will come ex japan for a CLEAR sheet... tinted sheets are made everywhere...

My Odo had the red numbers with black background but my radio has the reddish background with black numbers. Mine's Canadian....eh??

The odometer? We aren't talking about the speedo but the odometer (how miles you have).
If you is black #'s then what background is it running? Think you are talking about the speedo.

Oh... I forgot to type the back color... sorry...
Mine is black #'s with orange(red?) backlight:)

i think its all the autos have red #s on a red background, while the 5 speeds are black #s on a red background. I have noticed this too a long time ago, and upon searching i found that all the ones with the red #s were autos.

I didn't get around to doing this today. We went to the local drag strip instead and I'm dead tired right now. My friend told me it's a pan to flip the film. So I opened my old cell phone to try it on that, and I didn't do too well. Good thing the phone is replaced already. How think is the film? I didn't see much on the cell phone screen. Then there was a think layer that I'm thinking is the actual screen. Anyway, I'm too tired to open my spedometer again, not tonight. Sorry.

the film isn't too thin... its about 1mm thick... not normally anything more... so yeah its easy to handle...

mobile phones are a little bit different... if ya want to get a quick eg, go down to the local $2 shop, buy a calculator, and then just open it up... the polarising sheet will fall out, and then just play around ... you'll see what is going on
