I picked up a set of OBX red silicone radiator hoses and I went to try them on my new radiator and they are too big in diameter. Is there some sort of adapter sleeve that is supposed to come with them to make up the difference in size. There's no way a clamp is gonna seal the difference between the 2. My stock rad hose fits fine,so I'm sure the difference in size is in the hose....please advise...thanks!

Those are what I got.

2003-2007 Mazda Protege5 (FS-ZE)

As our cars ceased production in 2003 (so no model year 2004-2007) and as our cars have FS-DE and not FS-ZE motors (at least in North America, AFAIK), it sounds like either the seller doesn't know what he's talking about, or they're not at all the right hoses, or both.

That said, I doubt you're going to make them work. At all. Caveat emptor. Sorry, man.

Seller sold you a dud. Contact him about them.

They are not FS-ZE hoses as the FS-ZE utilizes the same hoses as the DE.

You are wrong sir, in order to put my ZE motor in, the water outlet as well as the t-stat housing had to be changed. They are different diameter and the t-stat housing is even angled differently.

I used the top hose but ended up cutting the bottom one a bit to short to work so I bought a new oem replacement for the bottom. I'm sure if you measure or cut correctly it will work.
