Next time get a flex section added to your midpipe, and/or don't over tighten the spring loaded bolts.

i took off the headers off my car, and i brought it to my gas station that i work at, and my mechanic welded it for me, and then i went home and installed it. everything was done under 2 hours too.

Nice to hear you got the header fixed and ProtegeGarage was willing to stand by you when the manufacturer won't. I can only imagine how loud it must have been when it broke.

well it's an OBX, don't act too surprised it happened

Somedays you do get what you paid for though. I still love my AWR header.

my front motor mount was torn and the welds on my header cracked last winter. had to take it off and get my buddy to tig weld it. got AWR mounts now so hopefully it wont happen again. my midpipe has a flexpipe built in too

i called obx, and they do not want to give me new headers because i did not send in the warrenty card, even though i have it right in front of me.

if you have the card in front of you, doesn't that mean you didn't send it?

manufacturing is never 100% perfect, infact its probably not even 80% i guess you just got the one made on a friday afternoon on the last day of work.

it happens, just bad luck.
