now boosted

yeah ill post pics when the monster is all finished i need a new dump tube because its burning all my things up flat cooling fan radiator hose o2 sensor wire etc it sucks that fan was like 250 bucks i hope terry can make me one that clears everything because this sucks. aslo anybodie have suggjestions on a good clutch flywheel combo or should i stay away from the flywheel?

Damn, I just lost a radiator hose and over heated my car. Just got it towed home.

Flywheel/Clutch combo I am using is the stage 2 from RR Racing. Excellent price for the combo, and hooks very welll.

Gotzoom that sucks , Which of the hoses the onefrom the thremo housing to the bottom of the radi .Let know so i can keep a spare in the car. I still don't have to much confidence in the til I get all the bugs out.

Yeah, thats the one. The flex hose I had is too big, so I am going now to find a smaller diameter. I bought a 93 626 thermostat outlet to better route the hose, so I will be putting that on also.

I got my radiator hose back on and I switched to the 93 626 themostat inlet and it is pointed in a much better direction and the hose does no kink at all. Way better than flipping the stock one. The only better alternative is to buy the Beavis Block, but that thing is hard to come by. The 626 inlet also has a bigger neck for better flow.

DUDE! :) Totally...I would NOT be using my FMU as a source for my farking BOOST Gauge...seriously..do NOT mess w/ that line. If you have a boost/vacuum line go out, that is NOT the one you want. You don't want to weaken the vac/boost going into that thing...Find a new source for your gauge - the gauge isn't nearly as important as the FMU.

The more I see that kit...well..it's just 'nice'..that's all. :)

:D

Does the WG tube meet up w/ the exhaust tube? Vent to atmosphere WGs tend to show more power on a turbo system. ;) :D

If you still have your stock hose. . .time for a beavis block (I'm not really pimping these things, but I made a bunch of them). I've had mine with the BB for some time now and no problems. Just a thought.

Henrymp5, very clean engine. . .looks awesome!

Littie Beavis thanks for the comp, Still got a little bit of bugs to take care of as far as idleing.
But she pulls good.

Hey Darin I have my A/F gauge hooked to my FMU line not my boost gauge. Or saying I should get another sourse of reading for my gauge.

I think he's just trying to say that you should pick up your boost reading from a line other than the FMU. Make sure you have a good connection as well, you don't want the FMU to lose its signal. You've got a lot of lines splitting off (not that you have a choice mind you. . .you need a lot of signals). Anyway, for safety sake, leave the FMU on its own "circuit".

The A/F guague should be hooked on your oxygen sensor (blue wire on the sensor itself), or the infamous pink/blue at the ECU.

How does an AF connect to an FMU??? AF don't read vac/boost.

:-/

Double check your connections...

And Little Beavis said it perfectly. :)

so whare else can you get a good vac source i am t ing everything off one vac nipple on intake manafold but whare else could i get a good source? I am using a 1988 subaru xt thermostat housing on my protege i had to ream the holes a little but other than that it works nice sends the hose above the ac pump. also the car runs better with the o2 unit rewired i had a dead spot around 4grand but it runs great now.
