Really now...I found a Spicy with 16,000 miles on it at a dealership, their first offer was $17,000, after I laughed at them, much like I'm doing to you now, it went down to $14,500. Probably could have gone lower if I really cared.(wiggle)AutoBox said:yall need to shut the hell up...look at the used market for msp's if it has below 10k it cansell for 18k easy...the dealers are dried up of new msps and there is no rebate........stop makin assumtions and leave th gyalone...this s*** is ****** old for real
Your 18 and you drive a MSP. Yep such a sad story...(sleep)yllowmsp35 said:there is a local dealer that is helping me out a lot with trying to get a decent price for my car. I Owe about 16k for it , to tell you the truth i would be satisfied with breaking even and getting my gsx. Im looking forward to starting from scratch with a car that has an engine Very similar to that of an EVO ( my dream car ). I'm only 18, about to goto college, and id much rather pay 200 a month for a car that can kick an msp's ass anyday. Thanks for the input on pricing, I just cross my fingers and hope to make 16 on a trade. BTW:i would recommend a MSP,i'm not dissing our cars at all.
Kick our cars ass isn't too accurate....that car needs alot to be reliable and run fast. My friend that owned 2 already wrecked both of those..."his fault". But he just got one, and a girl owned it before him that he knew and she didn't drive it hard at all. we redid the seals, gaskets, stripped engine and cleaned it up....changed all fliuds vacuum lines. Checked it inside and out. His turbo was blown 2 weeks later.....from no fault of his own, so he's getting a bigger better one. Just a word of advice, go hks all the way with that car, his first one was really strong.....and after it was tuned ran great, before that it was very speratic. Good luck with what ever you do. Getting a good engine out of an older car is hard, and you don't know what that thing has gone through. Only problem is, we looked at the pistons and it scared me how much detonation that car had been through even in stock settings. The girl said she always ran 93....kinda scared me enough to make me reconsider modding at all besides bolt ons. Until i get better pistons rods, etc.yllowmsp35 said:there is a local dealer that is helping me out a lot with trying to get a decent price for my car. Damn dude, come to Albany, my dad just bought a brand new Reflex Silver one for like 16,200, they still have at least one Yellow MSP left, I bet it'll go for around 15.cycoutMSP03.5 said:s***, none of u guys live in connecticut i guess.... our speeds still sell for 18k - 20k. and thats with rebate

ya know i had just turned 19 wheni bough my MSP, and i kinda got the same response like i was a spoiled kid or something but what people dont know is i work 70 hrs a week at the 2 businesses i own which paid for that car mostly cash and some 30 year old dude working a 9-5 making 25k a year has the balls to call me spoiled, sounds more like jealousy...yllowmsp35 said:Yes im 18 and have an msp, But learn to read more clearly before you start jabbering on and on about how i should be happy. Im paying for it, its to expensive for being in college and wanting to have spending money. Ill get the gsx and ill be happy.
MSPinVA said:Wow you make about ZERO sense. 200 bucks a month on a car with NO warranty that breaks all the time or 350 a month for a car under warranty that if it does break it GETS FIXED FOR FREE. I'm a college student myself and that is the PRIME reason why I bought an MSP, because it IS under warranty and I won't have to worry about transportation all through college. Trust me, those AWD trannys die often, die nasty, and die quickly (I know a DSM club around here). Keep the MSP until you are out of college, get a good job, and/or have the money and spare time to deal with a car like that.
Asking price... but will they sell? For that money somebody could FLY to Albany, buy one here for 15 and drive it back. Even if you missed work, you could save money...LaserBlueMSP said:and after looking on autotrader the cheapest msp i found was 15,900 and it has almost 25k miles most are going for 17-18 AutoTrader.com - Used Cars For Sale: Car Details, theres my .02

I drove older cars and fixed them myself... worked a bunch, saved money, bought more cars and still managed to pay off most of my tuition...jersey_emt said:^^^^ I'm with this guy ^^^^
