No, i'm not asking about the trans whine from 1st gear and sometimes 2nd.
Sometimes when i'm shifting through the first three gears, or if I shift from 1st to Reverse (to back up in a parking spot), it almost a clunky sound. Clutch is depressed all the way, and I haven't been racing or grinding any gears. Car has 500 miles and has never been stalled or any dropped clutches. Is this a normal characteristic of the trans? My previous manual was rwd and I never typically heard anything. Maybe it's because it's all upfront and by the engine this time? Either way, any comments would be helpful.
