noob to the awd world, tons of questions

I still have the factory warranty on the car do you think that will cover it? if not the dealer i bought it from said they would fix it, i called them on saturday and made sure that they will fix it if mazda didnt.

no im not, im launching at about 3 k and somewhat feathering it. but even when im not launching it but just flooring it in 1st or even 2nd at times the tires will spin.

Have them figure out the problem first THEN give you an estimate for repairs. Some shops will do this for free but most will charge you a set fee. Either way, just don't tell them to call you once it's fixed! That's like dropping the soap in jail. Depending on what the issue is (and the cost to get it repaired) you may be better off bringing it to another shop.

the dealership i bought it from is paying for the fix, i told them i would return the car if they didnt get it fixed! 30 day lemon law ftw!!

So i got an update from the mazda dealership, they said there was a bent sway bar but that had nothing to do with the awd system not working, then they looked into the awd system and said as of right now all they can say is "there is definetly something wrong with the differential" so i guess i just have to wait around and see what happens. I miss my car already!!

no because at the point i wouldnt have the dealship paying for all the repairs, because then they would say "well we sold it to you fine, you cant just come here in 6 months and say its ****** up so fix it" but now since i just bought the car they are paying for all the repairs.

sorry, my 240sx was set up towards the end for dirt drift, i miss being able to spin tires.
