Hi guys. I am new to the mazda world, and have just picked up my 2006 speed6 this year. I have started a few basic mods:
-fujita cai
-magnaflow exhaust
-cpe downpipe
-turboxs hybrid bov
I am looking to get a mbc to up the boost psi. Does anyone have any input as to what the safest amount of psi is to run on the stock engine?
This is my dd, so I don't want to get too crazy.
If anyone has any input please chime in.
Thanks guys.

i personally would keep it at stock boost....since you've said this is your daily driver. and what a nice daily driver it is!

I've personally talked to some of the techs at Corksport and they say they run 24 psi on their test car and everything came out good on the air-fuel ratio...but i've also heard that from somebody else that the power increase isn't really that big with that stock turbo.

the stock turbo won't be any good at 24psi. most of us run 18psi safely but since it doesn't look like you have a different intercooler i think you should leave it stock or maybe just go up it to 16.

Thanks for all the input guys. So you think if I go to even an upgraded ets tmic, I'd be good to go at about 19 psi?
