of course it all depends on what your goals are... show? go? both? autocross?

im going show, so personally i have eibach prokits as of right now, but im upgraded to coilovers, so i can drop the ride for shows. your best bet for coilovers (quality wise) are gonna be the Tien set up. but there are some good deals on Ksport and D2 coilovers on the forums.. search around- you'll find em (headbang)

For a daily driver, just get yourself a set of Tein S-tech or Eibach Prokit springs. Drops the car about an inch and a half, and is fine for day to day. Do a search on the forums for more info, and welcome :D

I think tirerack probably has about the best price on camber bolts, if you should need them. I got them for about $25 per set. If you're just doing springs I don't see it as necessary. If you're looking for a more aggressive alignment, the bolts can get you up to 2 degrees of negative camber(maybe more if you use them in the upper bolt holes as well?). Welcome to the forum!
 
appreciate the love and yall made me feel like part of the fam but i think imma either go with the tien springs, eibach pro kit, or the skunk 2 coilovers. thanks for the replies and still would like to hear if anyone else has any personal opinions while im making my decision
 
I've read that the skunk2s ride like a cement truck. You're probably better off with tein or eibach. I myself might pick up a set of sprint springs. Im looking for a 2 inch drop with a decent ride.
 
Dont forget the ground control coilovers. Many people have had great success with them.
 
espelir, ride height is Perfect IMHO. Not tucked, just "right" But more importantly they've TOTALLY balanced out myhandling since switching to MSP wheels. The whole leaning over onto the bumpstops and understeering thing got old fast... Just hit some nice spiraly on/offramps tonight. mmm fun. read up on them, many have gone from Eibach, and been very pleased.

Old pics from when they were new, They've actually settled a bit and now sit a bit lower.

Most importantly, though is the handling. Make sure yo look for springs meant to perform, not just drop and look good. My car's limits are much higher than I generally feel comfortable playing with now which is a good thing because I'm hitting corners 5-10mph faster than I ever could before.

first you need to ask your self how much you plan on driving your car..coilovers are horrible for daily driving..especially long drives... unless you like the way it feels to sit in a paint-can shaker.... but coilover are good for show.. performance wise??? well if you want true suspension performance you need and complete spring strut kit.. although i notice my car handles better with my H&R lowering springs than the ground control coilovers.. i hated the coilovers...

i installed the eibach prokit last sunday and love them.

car looks nice and handles better....can't want for the alignment this thursday!

Good luck with modding. It can be very costly. Oh and also I think that I have seen that honda civic in my neighborhood before. Do you live in the clayton county area or in the surrounding area? If so you need to go up to Autorage in fayetteville and talk to Tom and check out his car. He has a boosted yellow one that has probably everything that you could think of on it. Go and check it all out. hit me up with a pm if you have any questions.
 
Sprint Spring has a nice drop for our car not to mention they also make a camber kit. I love the way that Sprint Springs ride. I had a set on my old Civic when I had it right before I traded it in and bought my P5. It will be a year on May 29th! : ) WOOT! Anyways, I am planning on doing a Sprint Spring drop with the Sprint Camber Kit here soon. The Springs are about $180-$200 and the Camber Kit is about $50-$100. Very worth it though! Though the Tein are a great way to go as well. Here are some links.
