Noisy Power Windows

We have a 2008 Mazda CX-9 and is anybody experiencing an inconsistent sound when powering the windows up. Usually power windows should sound smooth, but I'm hearing a "chick chick chick" sound.

We have had to take it to the dealership twice for power window problems. First time the motor gave out. Second was for the noise problem.

The foam in my rear window came off. It blocked the window from rolling down completely. Going up was fine. A simple gluing fixed it.

The noises yours make could be something goes off tracks. Once you open it up, it should become obvious.
Maybe, just maybe, your 1st issue leads to the 2nd. Maybe the mechanic did not put things back correctly.... just maybe.

It seems that it's coming from the motor itself since last time they had to replace the motor. I was wondering if the CX-9 community was hearing the same thing I have been hearing.
