I installed my system in my M3 this weekend it sounds great. It consists of:
1/0 guage stinger wire
IXOS gamma RCA
Alpine 3342 Digital Signal Proc. EQ
Stock Head Unit with a Navone N-7V Hi-Low
Dynaudio seperates front
ADS coaxials in rear
2 12" Lanzar DC 12" (the oldschool Lanzars) for bass
1 MMATS LM2100 for midbass in front
1 MMATS SQ4070 2 channels for tweeters in front 2 ch. for ADS in back
1 MMATS SQ2150 for bass
The system sounds INCREDIBLE, just as you would imagine. Problem is extremeley annoying clicking noise coming from my tweeters at lower volumes. Sounds like ignition spikes. It's not the wires (already tried that), it's not the amps (I muted the amps and it wasen't them). It seems to be a mix in the front between the stock radio, the EQ and the HI-LOW component. Anybody else run into this problem after installing their system? What did you do to resolve it??
