Trying not to "review" the two cars but I was a previous owner of a 03 Tiburon with the alpine supercharger. And yes, The Tiburon will see over 16 whp just with a CAI. And did see additionally over 40 whp with the SC @ 4 psi. At 10 psi and maxing the efficiency of the SC the Tib will dyno close to 260 at the wheels. There are however now many twin turbo applications for the V6 that has taken the Delta v6 into the 320 range.

I had fully ported and polished intake and heads from nextgenation motorsports in FL. Who by the way , I have them researching what they might be able to do for us on the FS. The Tib was a very good vehicle from day one and no one should fear the Hyundai name. The current GK chasis Tiburon or Tuscani (its real name) is heaviest in its class and therefore will never be a real contender on anything other than the dragstrip.

There is absolutely no comparision of the warranties between Hyundai and Mazda. Even if Mazda dosn't give you s**** about a warranty issue if your lucky. Theres a 90% chance the part is not in stock. Not the case with Hyundai,

As far as BS trash talk inother vehicle comunities, hey thats everywhere you go.

I traded my Tiburon for 4 doors and really with the Speed it hasn't been a good desicion other than that. There is huge potiential in the Speed don't get me wrong , I work with one of the fastest MSP's on these boards hands down. And going on pure faith and potiential thats why I continue to be optomistic in the MSP.

The forums in my opinion have hit an all time low. All these BS threads (just like this one) really have chased some of the best MSP tuners away. Thanks to all the Speed contributors that actually bring something to the MSP community like 1FAST,DSMconvert,AZIAN6er and Discreet. And many others from the P5/MP3 (Brian mp5T)community that add just as much.

My best friend has a 03 tib. Personally i love it for a daily driver. Its got "decent" power (v6 modek). Personally i think it is a VERY handsome car, trying to knock off a italian car a little much, but all 2gether very good looking. Handleing is a joke tho, you dont even feel the road its so dam soft.

There is also about 298372378927938723 body kits made for it and i have seem some really impressive ones.

I woulndt bash the tib at all.

Ok I drove a V6 fully loaded Tiburon before I got my MSP and I can say that I like it but it does not handle anything like the MSP and even for a V6 I thought it did not have much power. The car just feels so heavy and sluggish, but it looks ok I guess.

ahh Korea... we better watch out, 10 years from now the best cars may be from Korea! The is a new Kia Spectra that puts out 140 hp and has ABS standard all for under 13k. Then again it might only run for a year...

Hmm... that's strange that they would think that. I don't think they are even in our class, are they? Definately get alot of respect from clubrsx. I haven't had a good experience with the wrx guys, but maybe it's just the people I met. They seem to think they are in the Sti class. Oh well.

yea the clubrsx guys are great. my buddies are a part of it and i have gone to a few of their meets and all and i get shown tons of respect. they like the look of the car and when i take them out for a spin they were like "damn this thing is on the road like glue!!"

also when i dusted the head of clubrsx in his type s (yes i used my bottle) i got some more respect lol.
but really they respect what everyone does to their cars and like our MEC group we just love the people that love their cars not just the cars themselves.

Yeah ClubRSX is great....I've 'corrected' a few of them on some stats concerning the MSP a few times, but overall they're very respectful.

Me thinks they all have a huge regret complex about buying a car that was way, way over-rated by it's manufacturer and now they have gotten together in a big group hug to try to cope. Then if anyone actually pulls the curtain to shed a little light of reality into their dark world they try to banish them so their fragile balance is not disturbed.

Uhhhhh....hardly. I think this forum is a far cry from an all time low. This is about as friendly as criticizing another car gets. This kind of competative talk is not uncommon...especially in our genre. By the way, Tiburons suck.(lol2)
