No injector pulse

:
2003.5 MSP
dont normally ask for help.. but i am stumped.. getting spark, getting fuel to the fuel rail, have reset my ecu.. and i still have no fuel coming out of the injectors.. what am i overlooking?? car ran/drove fine yesterday.. it did this when i tried to start it today..

maybe clogged? take off fuel rail and see if theres a clog in it. is it all injectors? cuz im currently working with a stuck injector

have you checked the resistances/voltages on the injector clips to see if the injectors are even getting the signal to fire? check all of your fuses in the engine bay and in the kick panel on the drivers side. When i first put my 505 manifold on my egr wires got too close to my egr line egr melted the sheathing and some wire and caused a short. popped 2 fuses before i found out what the problem was.

Checked everything.. I got it to fire last night.. Ran fine.. Shut if off and it did it again.. I'm wondering if it's something in the security system causing them to shut down

Possibly? all the grounds good on the car? especially the ecu?

I have something similar to this. When I use the stock ECU, car runs fine, when I put the AEM in, if thew car is not full voltage it won't start. We have been able to trace this down to the fuel pump relay cycling on and off, maybe the main relay as well, I have to ckeck.

Something for you to look at !!

sweet.. ill take a look.. i know the main 100 amp fuse is fine.. i have an extra main relay in the garage.. i can just swap them out.. where is the fuel pump relay on these cars??? i have looked in both fuse boxes and cant find it....

SO now 3 of us are having issues, just got this PM:

Hi,

I'm hoping you may be able to help me out with an issue i just ran into.

A quick summary of my ECU setup:

-I am running the haltech E8 in parallel with the stock ecu.
-The haltech controls fuel, ignition, and tach w/ independent intake temp and coolant temp sensors.
-The stock ecu controls everything else.
-I have a jumper harness to bypass the haltech ecu when i need to get an inspection (plus swap injectors).

I ran this setup tuned for a few months and everything worked fine.
I then switched back to the stock ecu and ran on the stock ecu for inspection. This worked perfectly fine.
I then ran this setup for another year and everything worked fine.
Today, i switched back to the stock ecu and tried to fire the car. There is no ignition signal and the injectors are not firing.

Wiring is good, fuses have been checked, fuel pump is running, etc.

Is it possible that the ignition and fuel circuits have burnt up on the stock ecu due to the lack of load over the past year or so?

Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I told the OP to join in on this thread.

wow.........maybe MSP ecu's only have a 9 year life cycle, and we are about to start seeing alot of them crash and burn. J/K......I hope

its driving me crazy! i need to get that car back on the road.. its my dd.. now im stuck having the wife drive me to work.. pick me up.. use her car to get the kid and pick her up from work.. H3s suck on gas!!!
im wondering if i can get my Split Second FTC installed if that would help get the signal back..

Had a frayed wire on my cam sensor car started but would be very rough throwing a cel and die off. Had my J&S pop a fuse and car did nothing no crank at all eventhough its only tapping the coil signals.

Being random seems alarm kill switch may be a better start?

looked and dont have anything for an alarm... its my mp3.. but for all intensive purposes.. its a msp (everything swapped including tranny..)

Started again tonight.. I'm wondering if it could be the ecu.. Maybe I didn't give my other long enough to reset and learn the car..

Narrowed this down to a ground wire that wasn't getting a good connection.. The one from the battery terminal to the fuse box
