It was posted on Promazda.com, but what if we planned our next statewide meet over in Tampa for Gasparilla? Make a weekend out of it. It is Feb. 7th 2004 and we can party in Ybor or wherever the night before, Gasparilla on Sat. and for those who stick around maybe do Busch Gardens on Sun. Any more suggestions, we need to start planning so we can look into hotel rooms and such.

I dont see a problem with it but the people from south would have to drive north again its up to them
If we are doing the Gasparilla thing, bring extra $$ for cabs. it's near impossible to get your car anywhere near Bayshore Blvd, and once you're there... there are NO OPEN CONTAINER LAWS!!! so for those who plan on drinkin it up TRUE Gasparilla style, please plan on parking with me at my place and splitting a cab. I dont want any casualties on my home turf!

Ive got everyone mapped out on a Fl map. So the middle seems to be the tampa orlando area. but I dont always want to hole meets there. I would like to go all over the state. So that the Ft lauderdale people dont have to drive so far. We need to give and take.Scott said:

I agree with Jo in that we need to have meets around the state to allow other area of the state to participate. We have a big state and to have one central location (Orlando or Tampa) segragates many other areas such as South Florida and the Panhandle which would have to drive too far all of the time to meet up. We shoudl have a meet down South Florida and also one up in the Panhandle somewhat, perhaps Panama City.
I have no problem with driving the distance if plans are made well in advance so that I can set up lodging and such if need be for myself. I suggest Gasparilla because many people were looking for something to do after the meet and this would be a perfectly fun time for all!

Then again i didnt go to the last meet b/c my dad wouldnt let me drive to the meet by myself. So if someone took me(thought) (hi), i wouldnt see why i couldnt go to the next one. lol
