next event (get together for lang) planning

k so what i've seen so far is that most people will have no problem with getting together for a weekend meet except for me. i can't really take off of my morning job, but i can for my night job. so i'll be free in the afternoon, i'm just waiting on a couple of confirmations from mokeone and mike in the other thread. i'm just gathering interest on what people would prefer to do.
we can have a potluck/bbq in the mid afternoon first and then rollout in the early evening for a early evening/night cruise. last time we had a bbq at oahu central park and it went alright
we can do a midafternoon to early evening cruise to some area and do the bbq/potluck
or we can just have a cruise
or just have a bbq/putluck
or maybe get together for dinner at a restraunt

i think maybe a cruise to a BBQ spot would be cherry. Maybe meet up somewhere town-side, and cruise over to Kualoa Beach side perhaps? make a simple cruise, get some vids or photos in there, and just kick back, kanikapila style. haha.

Although, idk if food spoiling would be an issue, or keeping it fresh would be difficult. Maybe.....cruise to windward mall, eat at Ruby Tuesday's? Now that Ruby Tuesday's is open.

I'm pretty much open to everything, although, long cruises might cause confusion if people get broken up.

I'll try think of more stuff as it comes to.

alright we got some ppl if you guys can't make it to this one, i believe lang will come back again and leave before august 2nd. so we'll have another one before he leaves again.
so now comes the tough part....what restraunt shall we go to? and where shall the cruise start, go through and end. last time chris did an excellent job w/ the cruise route.

i get done with work at 1pm on the 8th, then i have a show to play later in the night. i could probably make it if the event will be in the afternoon/early evening.

yeah it's probably afternoon/evening, i'm requested off from my night job, so i should be getting out at around 2pm that day. then i'll just change there n head down to wherever we're meeting up at.
atleast we got the date set can anybody get in contact w/ lang to see if it's alright with him? i mean i haven't seen him or mike reply to this thread yet haha so i'm just wondering if there coming.
