Hi everyone
Im new here and have just bought a 1998 mazda 626 gxi! i live in the uk!
Looking for advice for possible issue's with my new car and possible performance upgrades, especially what different mazda wheels would fit my car (RX-8?)!
My car before this was a stage 1 tuned (225bhp) saab 9000 but running costs put a downer on that so im now here joining the mazda clan (first) lol!

Welcome to the forums, and that is an upgrade from your Saab.

As far as issues go, you didn't say how many miles the car has and what has been done to it. A well-cared for 626 shouldn't give you too many headaches, but the wear items will need to be looked at--(brakes, belts, hoses, suspension, etc.)

Since you owned a tuned Saab, you're obviously good with tools and maintenance items--

its done about 124k miles! I loved my saab and enjoyed upsetting alot of lil boy racers (saxo owners ect) lol! Its got an induction kit but fitted bizzarely as instead of getting 1 with a plate on they just got another joining plate that the air filter and maf sensor is on and bolted them togeather and fitted a universal filter lol so guna put it back to standard and get a k&n panel filter! Im not to mechanically minded as i had a good saab technician that did the hard stuff (replacing turbo, intercooler ect) lol! And the brake light comes on when you press the brake pedal but i think its a spring clip thats broke on the back brake (unsure if im right tho)! Its a manual! The jobs i want to do is cambelt and auxciallary belts, brakes all round a oil change! Want some alloys (oem 1's) and a stainless steel exhaust but unsure where to go from there!
