newbie apexi tt problem

hey guys, i just got a 03 msp about 3 wks ago, which i am enjoying very much. one of my problems is i cant get the apexi turbo timer to work with the engine runnig. BUT, when i have the key in ON position and shut it off, it will only run for 2 seconds and shut off. also, i notice that one alarm is splice into it some kind of way. could that be it? if not, than what is the problem? and yes, i did search this forum and didnt find anything that will fix the problem.

What wires did you hook up to under the dash (steering column?) and what is the timer set at for cool down?

Well I Didnt Hook Up Anything. When I Got The Car The Axpei Tt Was Already On The Car. When I First Check The Wires They Were Hook Up Like This Red To Red, Blue To Blue, And Green The Blue. And It Would Only Work For 2 Sec. On The "on Poistion". (thats With The Timer Set For 30 Sec) So, I Playd Around With The Wires Yday Changing The Wires Up To Red To Red, Green To Blue (the Blue Wire That In The Same Row With The Blk/wht And Red Wires), And Blue To Blk/wht. Now, It Will Do The Count Down But The Engine Is Not Running. Also, The Ground Wire Is Not Hook Up To The Ecu Ground And That White/red Is Not Hook Up To The Ecu.
