Newb from Metro Detroit

Just wanna say "Whassup" to everyone! I am not a current Mazda owner but I am on the hunt for a 2010 Mazdaspeed3 and I have considered looking at an '08-09 as well. There aren't any official used ones in Michigan that I can find but Chicago and Ohio have a few. I currently drive a silver 2005 Saab 9-3 Arc. The car has the Saab Sports suspension plus a subframe and strut tower brace for handling. I also added an intake, 3" downpipe, BSR sport exhaust and BSR tune. The car put down 220Whp and 268 ft-lbs of torque on a local Mustang Dyno. I run 18" Drag DR-19s in the summer and the stock 16" wheels in the summer. I know hectik1 on here and we have run the Dragon together. Hopefully I can get the MS3 soon, but I am waiting on the closing of my house before I start messing with my credit again. Any tips on what to look for would be appreciated!

Ok, found one I like, have to drive to Chicago but so what, ha! The car only has 8800 miles on it. Now I just have to get my house closed so I can buy this bad boy!! I am waiting to see if they will let me put a deposit down to hold the car for me.

Alright, I am putting a deposit down tonight, so now all I gotta do is close on the house! HA! Thanks for the welcome El Speed3! This will be my first Mazda and Japanese car! Gotta love the red!! (2thumbs) I noticed that your lower rear bumper trim is black, did you paint that?

Exactly right... We Mexicans get the same bumper as the US-Spec so I went ahead and "negotiated" with the dealers that if I were to buy the car from them, they should give me that painted because thats what the other dealer is offering me (obviously not true but hey, it worked!!).

Anyways, its not black, its Cosmic Gray (the name they gave me...). As a reference, its exactly the same color as the front grill, which is a very dark, metallic gray...

Good luck and do post some pics of the new member as soon as you have it!

Do the JDM or the Euro MSP get a different bumper? The Cosmic Gray rear looks good! Thanks again! Pics will be up asap, talked with my lender and it looks like we are even closer to closing!

I dont really know if theyre different parts, my guess is theyre not. Whatever the case, just piant it along the line and youll get exactly the same result...
