Hey all! I am new to this forum, been pretty active on a Subaru forum. I have never actually owned a mazda, and still don't. However I have driven a Mazda Miata, Tribute, and I have rode around in a couple Mazda 3s. By the way I LOVE the way these Mazda's drive. Sporty, tight suspension, good mpg, yet fast. DEAL! I do alot of auto auctions around KC and "flip" cars (legally, not a curbstoner) for $. So right now I don't actually have my "own" car, only keep em for a month or so. Eventually I would like to have a 2004ish Mazda 3 wagon as "my" DD. How are Mazda's as far as resale value, parts (cheap, expensive, in between?), easy to fix? (I consider Honda easy to fix, Subaru suspension become a bit crazy.) Look forward to hangin here with ya'll!

Welcome!

Mazdas are fairly easy to work on.....depending on what you're doing. As far as resale value, I think one can resell a Mazda for close to the same purchase price, obviously depending on many factors such as condition of the body, mileage, etc.
