New transfer cases any good?

I have a 2010 cx9 with 40k miles on it. Now about to replace the transfer case for a 3rd time. I spoke with mazda dealer and he told me that there is a new manufacturer as of nine months ago that is making the transfer cases for Mazda.

If this is true, has anyone had any success with the newer version of transfer cases? Are these new cases any better?

Any help or insight on this would be greatly appreciated.

I would like to know also. I keep hearing that the transfer cases are made by ford. So if there is a new manufacturer i would like to know. Also why don't they use a toyota transfer case and rear diff since they are already using a toyota transmission. They can also get the engine as well from them. They have a 3.5 litre just like the ford duratecs.
