Hey everyone. I'm in the process of buying my buddy's 02 P5. I'm kind of new to the tuning scene, and I think this car will be good for me to break in. He's already done coil overs, intake, header, and exhaust. I'm kind of wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what to do next.

MP3 ECU if it is a manual. You will have to run higher octane gas, but I feel it's worth it, especially since he has the ground work done to see the gains.

Well, eventually I'd like to turbo it, but I'm just kind of looking for something I can do in the meantime. I wouldn't have the money for that for a year or two. Essentially when it's all said and done, 250ish hp would be preferable.

Is there anything you guys would suggest that I do to get more power from/fortify just the motor before I do the turbo?

A good next step would be to remove the VCTS and port and polish the intake manifold and J-Spec cams but if you want 250 you may want to start looking into forged internals as well
