New to the site, just purchased a 2007 MS6 GT Black Mica

I kind of jumped the gun and registered early, didn't even have the car yet. Four of these slipped through my fingers before I got this one. 2007 MS6 GT with 26K miles.

Nice ride Congrats on the new purchase, Thats one hell of a purchase to find 26K on nicely done. Question for you what is going on with the mufflers? Where are the fake exhaust tips and the tow inserts?

It's a repossession so it was missing those things for some reason. It's okay, I'm planning a full exhaust upgrade and I'll need to track down the tow inserts. Totally clean Carfax though and the inspection was clear as well.
You'd probably freak out if I told you what I paid.

15.5K delivered to my door. Needs a few paint repairs and dent fixes but I have a buddy at a body shop so that's cake. And I still have 3 grand to play with!

So I crawled under it today and it appears to have an aftermarket exhaust on it already. This would explain why the tips are missing.

umm yeaaaa.. even from the pictures you can tell that someone was screwing with this car and he wasn't very good at it.

That thing looks lowered, btw. Not 100% on that one, but I'd definitely look into that.

And 15.5 for a repo isn't all that great ... you have absolutely no clue what's been done to a car. I'm no fan of paying for brand new, but at least I know exactly what i'm dealing with. Good luck and hope you have a DD when this one gives you sh*t.

What kind of exhaust? is it Custom?

I can't get far enough under to read but it's obviously not stock. The driver side doesn't fit well and it's not tucked up high enough.

Kiseliok: it has Eibach springs on it so at least they didn't cheap out there. Hell the exhaust might not be crap, just poorly fitted. The only thing that's real crap is the Autozone intake under the hood.

yeah its obv. aftermarket exhaust or at least just the mufflers. the bumper is still there even though the fake tips arent yet you can CLEARLY see the mufflers. dunno what it is but it is certainly after market. def lowered.

i dont think 15.5 is that bad... ive been trying to find one around for a while now and have had a couple slip through as well. most of them are actually increasing in price now...

Part of the rarity of the car is the current dwindling supply of used cars and people hanging on to their cars longer. I finally saw an MS6 for sale locally, it was a silver 2006 with 76K miles. The kicker was the dealer had it stickered at $17K.

The price is going back up... Im not gonna drive mine too much anymore.. its at 39,950 now and its a 2006.. I was offered 17.8 for it already and turned it down
